Saying goodbye to a valued team member is never easy, but celebrating their accomplishments makes the transition a joyful occasion. At Spencer/Hines Properties, we recently had the privilege of honoring Dale Seay as he embarks on his well-deserved retirement.
Dale has been a cornerstone of our team for 12 and a half years. His dedication and presence in the office have left a lasting mark on all of us. As he officially retired at the end of 2025, we knew we couldn’t let him leave without a proper send-off that reflected just how much he means to the company.
A Sweet Send-Off at the Office
Dale Seay’s retirement festivities began right here at the Spencer/Hines office. We gathered the team for an intimate party to kick off the celebration. It was a time to pause our busy schedules and focus on the man of the hour.
We shared stories, laughter, and, of course, some delicious cake. Gifts were exchanged as tokens of our appreciation for his loyalty and hard work over the last decade. It was a heartwarming start to the day, allowing everyone to personally express their gratitude to Dale for his years of service.
Fore! Fun at The Back Nine
Anyone who knows Dale knows that he has a serious passion for golf. We couldn’t plan a retirement celebration without incorporating his favorite pastime.
After the office gathering, the guys headed over to The Back Nine. The Back Nine is a perfect venue for the occasion, offering high-quality simulated golf. It was great to see Dale in his element, enjoying a few rounds and some friendly competition with his colleagues. It wasn’t just about the game; it was about camaraderie and making a few final office memories outside of the office.
Dale Seay’s Retirement Celebratory Lunch
To cap off the day’s events, the group moved on to City Range for a celebratory lunch. Good food and great company provided the perfect atmosphere to wind down the festivities. We toasted to the past 12.5 years and the bright future ahead. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy a meal together, and reflect on the successes we’ve shared with Dale as a key part of our team.
Cheering Dale on for the Next Chapter
While we will miss seeing Dale around the office every day, we are incredibly excited for him. Retirement is a significant milestone, marking the beginning of a new journey filled with freedom and new opportunities.
We know that Dale will be successful in whatever he decides to pursue next, whether in his personal hobbies (more golf, perhaps?) or professional endeavors.
