Spencer/Hines Properties is growing—and we couldn’t be more excited about the latest addition to our team. Pablo Peña, Commercial Agent joined us in June 2026 as a commercial agent based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and his story is one worth telling.
From the streets of Buenos Aires to the boardrooms of the tri-state area, Pablo has built a career defined by versatility, entrepreneurial drive, and a genuine commitment to the people and communities he serves. Those qualities make him a natural fit for the world of commercial real estate—and for the Spencer/Hines Properties team.
From Buenos Aires to Spartanburg: Pablo’s Background
Pablo Peña was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he developed a strong academic foundation in economics at the Escuela Superior de Comercio Carlos Pellegrini. One of Argentina’s most respected institutions for business and economic education. That grounding in economic principles has shaped how Pablo approaches every professional challenge: analytically, strategically, and with an eye for long-term value.
His career path has been anything but conventional. That breadth of experience is precisely what makes him such a compelling addition to our Spartanburg commercial team.
A Decade of Expertise in Facilities and Health & Safety Consulting
Before entering real estate, Pablo spent over ten years as a private consultant. Working with a wide range of companies on Health & Safety codes and regulations. This is specialized, detail-oriented work. It requires an understanding of how physical spaces function at an operational level—how they’re built, maintained, regulated, and managed.
For a Spartanburg commercial real estate agent, that kind of knowledge is invaluable. Pablo doesn’t just understand what a property looks like on paper. He understands how it performs in practice, what compliance requirements matter to business owners, and how facilities decisions affect day-to-day operations.
Restaurant Ownership, Executive Transportation, and the Entrepreneurial Mindset
Pablo’s professional story extends well beyond consulting. He co-owned and managed a restaurant in Westchester County, New York. An experience that sharpened his understanding of leases, foot traffic, location strategy, and the practical realities of running a customer-facing business. He sold his interests in 2003, but the lessons from that chapter have stayed with him.
That same year, Pablo co-founded All U Need Limousine Service. A transportation company dedicated to moving executives across the tri-state area. Building and running a service business from the ground up demands a specific kind of resilience. You learn how to build client relationships, manage logistics under pressure, and maintain the high standards that executives expect. Pablo did exactly that.
These experiences give him something that’s hard to teach: a firsthand understanding of what business owners need from the spaces they operate in. When Pablo sits across the table from a client, he’s not just an agent—he’s someone who has been on the other side of those decisions.
What Pablo Brings to Commercial Real Estate in Spartanburg
Spartanburg’s commercial real estate market is active and evolving. Businesses are expanding, new investors are entering the market, and the demand for knowledgeable, trustworthy representation is higher than ever. Pablo is well-positioned to meet that demand.
His fluency in both English and Spanish also opens doors—quite literally. Spanish-speaking business owners and investors represent a growing segment of the market across South Carolina and the broader Southeast. Having a bilingual agent who understands both the language and the business culture is a meaningful advantage for clients who want to feel genuinely understood throughout the process.
Add to that his deep familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, his background in hospitality, and his experience managing service operations, and you have an agent who can speak credibly to clients across a wide range of industries—retail, food service, office, industrial, and beyond.
More Than a Career: Pablo’s Commitment to Spartanburg
What stands out about Pablo isn’t just his resume—it’s how deeply rooted he is in the Spartanburg community. He’s an avid cyclist and serves on the safety committee for Freewheelers of Spartanburg, a local cycling club dedicated to promoting safe cycling throughout the region. He has also volunteered as a golf coach with First Tee, an organization that uses the game of golf to teach young people life skills and values.
These aren’t resume line items. They reflect a person who shows up—for his community, for the next generation, and for the causes he believes in. That’s the kind of professional we’re proud to have representing Spencer/Hines Properties.
