Having started our commercial real estate company in 1986, Ben serves as President
of Spencer/Hines Properties. Ben has been involved in numerous sales and development
transactions in retail, industrial and office projects. Clients include national
organizations such as CVS, Bi-Lo, Wal-Mart, Bojangles, Denny's and others who
have sought Ben for locations in Upstate South Carolina. Local clients include
Dave Edwards Toyota, Bradshaw Saturn car dealerships, Smilemakers, Grace Manufacturing
and numerous other office, retail and industrial customers.
Ben is a '78 graduate of Wofford College with a BA degree in economics. He serves
on the Board of First National Bank of the South, the South Carolina Chapter of
CCIM and has participated over the years on boards of American Federal Bank, Mary
Black Hospital, Child Evangelism Fellowship and The South Carolina Christian Foundation.
Married to Madonna for 26 years, they are the proud parents of Marie, Benjamin
and William.
He has also been licensed as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is a Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Barry Lynn Spencer, CCIM,

Lynn is Co-Owner and Broker-In-Charge of Spencer/Hines Properties. A native of
South Carolina, he has been a resident of Spartanburg for 25 years. He has been
an integral driving force of the commercial real estate market for many years.
Over that period of time he has been involved in transactions totaling over $100
million dollars. Lynn's specialties include development, retail and office sales
and leasing, investment and site selection. He also offers buyer/tenant representation.
He is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina and Kentucky. He holds the CCIM
designation and is a Certified Exchange Consultant.
Lynn currently serves as a Director for Community South Bank and past Deacon
of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is an Alumni of Leadership Spartanburg, Past President
of the State CCIM Chapter, past member of the Red Cross and YMCA Board.

Guy W. Harris, Sr. |

Guy has been a part of the Spencer/Hines team for 16 years. Guy has become successful
due to his extraordinary loyal client base. He was selected by his office peers
as the 2003 and 2008 Agent Of The Year. He previously worked as an educator at
the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind where he also coached Varsity
Soccer.
Guy is a CCIM Candidate working toward the prestigious CCIM designation that
is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon completion of a graduate-level
curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience.
During the past 16 years of brokerage service, Guy has gained an extensive knowledge
of development and investment, specifically in the upstate market. He has also
worked extensively with tenant representation that has taken him into markets
all over North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia giving him strong networking
ability to market properties to other professional real estate brokers, investors
and buyers throughout the region.
Guy serves as Chairman of the Board for National Hoops Ministries. He also serves
on the advisory board for The National Bank of South Carolina. Guy and his wife
Christy have six children and attend Westgate Baptist Church. He volunteers as
boys varsity soccer assistant coach and head varsity coach for the girls soccer
team at Westgate Christian School. He is currently serving on the Westgate Christian
School Board. |

Chip engages in commercial real estate brokerage, development and investment.
He represents sellers/landlords and buyers/tenants in brokerage transactions.
Chip's previous brokerage experience includes deals in retail, office, industrial,
self-storage, multi-family, healthcare, recreation facilities and land. His development
projects include speculative new construction, build-to-suits and rehabs of shopping
centers, freestanding retail, office, bank/credit union and healthcare buildings.
Chip also manages a number of investment partnerships, which develop, buy, sell
and own a variety of commercial and investment properties.
Chip is a lifelong resident of Spartanburg. He graduated from the University
of South Carolina and serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Spartanburg
School District 7. Chip was the first Spencer/Hines Agent of The Year in 2002.

J. Neal Boyett |
|
Neal joined Spencer/Hines in 2001 as part of a mentoring program under Lynn Spencer,
which is a training stage designed to develop professional and proficient agents
in the commercial arena. Lynn stresses the importance of learning market values
and market timing. This is crucial when advising clients. Combining this with
a 20 year sales and marketing background, Neal joined the ranks as a full agent
in January, 2003.
Neal is pursuing the esteemed CCIM designation to further develop his investment
analyzing skills. Neal was selected at the 2004 Agent of the Year. He has served
as President of the Spartanburg Commercial Real Estate Exchange (SCREX), Member
of the national and local Board of Realtors and is licensed in both North and
South Carolina to serve your commercial and investment needs.
Neal is married to wife Sharon and has 3 great children. Neal enjoys golf when
time permits. |

Andy Hayes |

After graduating in 1996 from Clemson University with a Degree in Environmental
Geology Andy spent the following 6 years with an environmental and geotechnical
engineering firm. During this time he worked with commercial real estate developers
and brokers to find solutions for sites with environmental and geotechnical problems.
In April of 2002 he brought his experience to Spencer/Hines where he became a
licensed real estate agent representing buyers and sellers, as well as lessors
and lessees.
Andy was selected at Agent of the Year for 2006.
Andy and his wife Teresa have one son. |

David Strickland |

David joined Spencer/Hines in October, 2005 as a Commercial Property Sales and
Leasing Agent. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent in South Carolina with an extensive
background in industrial sales and marketing.
David was voted the Agent of the Year for 2008.
David is a member of the Spartanburg Board of Realtors and is listed in the Cambridge
Who's Who of Executives and Professionals. He serves on the Board of Elders at
Covenant Worship Center and is Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Upstate Family
Resource Center. He serves as a committee member for Harvest Family Ministries.
David and his wife Robin reside in the Boiling Springs Community, have three
children and two grandchildren.

Craig Jacobs |

Craig began working at Spencer/Hines in August of 2006 in commercial sales and development. Since joining
the company, Craig has been involved with all aspects of commercial real estate
in both buyer and seller representation, as well as leasing of properties for
both landlord and tenant. He is a graduate of Boston College and has lived in Spartanburg since 1977.
Craig is a member of the South Carolina CCIM, National Association of Realtors,
the Spartanburg Board of Realtors, and is also a licensed real estate agent in
North Carolina.
Besides coaching youth sports, he is a member of the Upstate Workforce Investment
Board, The Upstate Regional Education Center Advisory Board and a board member
of the Charles Lea Center.
Craig received the Agent of the Year Award for 2009.

Robbie has been a licensed Real estate Agent since 2004 and has participated
in over $37 million worth of commercial sales and leasing volume since joining
Spencer/Hines in 2005.
Robbie is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Spartanburg Association
of REALTORS® and the REALTORS® Commercial Alliance (RCA). He also serves as an
instructor at the Wyatt Institute of Real Estate in Greenville, SC.
As a member of the Westgate Baptist Church of Spartanburg he serves as leader
of the Adult I (Young Marrieds)Sunday School class, as a Sunday School teacher,
as an usher and as a speaker for the Westgate Christian School chapel services.
Robbie and his wife Stephanie have three children. |
